Empowering Empires begins with you, yes you are our mission! The mission of Empowering Empires is to create an educational platform that will provide assistance to YOU, those that are looking for a new beginning, to a new destination.
All of our course program objectives have the same root which is to equip students with
the knowledge and skills that makes them competitive in the trucking industry and prepares graduates to pass state level exams in efforts to receive proper operational credentials.
Life is a combination of different journeys and many times we find ourselves on unpredictable paths or perhaps detours from our original destinations.
As children, we dream until, in some cases, those dreams are swiped or wiped out of our vision. Life happens, circumstances happen, one day we wake, and we are grown- ups. Numerous times changing careers or having raised the children, presently finding ourselves and our purpose.
Many times taking A journey down the wrong roads and hitting a dead-end motivates us to and eventually deciding to get it together while the choice is still an option. Jail does not create you; money does not make you; relationships do not secure you, nor does any oF life's circumstances define you.

Meet our Founder
Elana Kangethe is the founder and CEO of Empowering Empires School located in Kansas City, MO.
As a little girl, Elana's playroom was set up as a classroom. She had her dolls as the students and imaginary friends as peer teachers. Her mom and grandmother went along with the fairytale and made sure she had chalkboards hung and the walls and instructor books. They even went as far to make copies of her coloring book pages for the imaginary classroom.
As life would happen, Elana's dream of teaching faded when she did not want to attend college after high school.
Rather she made some good and bad choices eventually finding herself working in Corporate America.
It was in Corporate America, that her love for teaching showed back up, she was promoted as a Trainer and Team Lead and assisted many people in learning their jobs and performing them correctly.
After a sudden layoff, she began to assist in her community helping people write resumes, and prepare for job interviews.
In 2008, she was able to launch her first company and become an Entrepreneur in the trucking industry.
As she grew in the trucking industry and learned more, she began to write curriculum and train individuals world-wide on the basics of the industry, freight brokering, trucking dispatch, compliance, and truck ownership.
Elana is a professional in business development and has a passion to assist people in moving forward with their life goals.
It is from all of her life experiences and the companies she has built through the years she was able to give birth to Empowering Empires!
Her dream of becoming a teacher as a little girl has became full circle as she has founded a School!!! Empowering Empires is a place with instructors that care, staff that are passionate and connections that last a lifetime!
